Position description
This is a role for people passionate about working with data and data systems, and who love solving problems. The successful candidate will act as a data analyst on projects at our customers.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Experience with data warehousing, reporting, business intelligence or data engineering
- Collaborate within our team, and working with our clients to understand their needs helps us deliver exceptional services and results
- Employ your initiative, technical knowledge and strong oral and written communication to translate and implement simple to complex requirements into DW/BI solutions using appropriate methodologies and standards.
- Prepare and compile detailed project documentation.
Required qualifications to be succesful in this role
- Should have at least 3-4 years of experience worked on multiple database technologies like SQL Server, Oracle, Postgress etc
- Should have programming/scriptiing skills, statistics knowledge, analytical skills, and an understanding of big data technologies.
- Experience in cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS or Snowflake is a plus
- Hands on experience in Power BI, Tableau or similar data visualisation technologies
- Foundation in DW and BI design, tools, processes and implementation approaches
- Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence or Data Analytics project experience
- Should be able to Analyze and organize raw data independently
- Should be able to define rules and policies based on the source systems data
- Should be able to conduct complex data analysis and report on results.
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling.
- Build algorithms and prototypes.
- Should have very good communication skills
